Certified Document Translation

Certified translations between English and Hebrew, Russian or Spanish — for USCIS, courts, universities and employers

Quick Answer

When a U.S. agency, court or university accepts a foreign-language document, it usually requires a certified English translation: a complete, accurate translation accompanied by the translator's signed certificate of accuracy. Ronit provides certified translations between English and Hebrew, Russian or Spanish — the same languages she notarizes in — and can notarize the translator's certificate so the package is ready to file.

The work covers the documents people actually need translated: birth and marriage certificates, divorce decrees, diplomas and transcripts, police records, medical records, contracts and personal letters. Machine translation is never used for certified work; every page is translated and reviewed by a fluent human translator.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will USCIS accept your certified translation?

USCIS requires a full English translation of any foreign-language document, with the translator's signed certification of competence and accuracy. Our translations are prepared in exactly that format; when a notarized certificate is also requested, we notarize it as part of the same service.

What is the difference between a certified and a notarized translation?

A certified translation carries the translator's signed statement that the translation is complete and accurate. A notarized translation adds a notary's verification of the translator's identity and signature on that statement — some institutions ask for both, and we provide both.

How long does a translation take?

Short civil documents (certificates, single records) are typically completed within a few business days; longer files are quoted with a firm delivery date before work begins. Rush handling is available for immigration and court deadlines — ask when you call.
